If the popularity of a team like Uchenna and Joyce eludes me, David and Mary being well-liked is baffling. It must be because people feel sorry for them and hope rooting for them will compensate for the fact that they're dumb, ugly, slow rednecks. Which, they really are. I hate to sound overly critical, but David is lacking in the brains department, and all the tenacity in the world can't make up for the fact that Mary looks like…well, you know. The only reason they lasted long at all on S10 was because of suspiciously placed non-elimination points and an alliance that carried their rather hideous bottoms to the mat more than once (why aren't the Chos here instead?). David and Mary are terrible racers, and their swift elimination will be one of the highlights of the All Stars season for me.
