John Vito and Jill - season 3

I must admit, I don't really see why these two are on the show. It is quite tragic that Jill's brother was killed during 9/11, but other than reminding us every five seconds of this horrible event, they didn't do much on their season. To experience tragedy is an awful thing, but to milk it to death on a cheesy, competitive TV show is just crass. They are athletic enough, so it is probable that they can outrace some of the losers they brought back, but I wouldn't count on these two crossing anything remotely resembling the finish line. Maybe the fact that they are friends now rather than lovers will make them more secure with each other than many bickering couples and progress them, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.
